Parking plants for Wildlife - New legislation brings a softer aspect to front gardens
Tough new legislation to slow the amount of front gardens being turned into concrete jungles has been welcomed by the RSPB.In London alone, an estimated two-thirds of front gardens have been lost to hard standing for car parking; thats about thirty-two square kilometres, or the equivalent of sixteen Olympic Parks.

I have to admit we do not really have a front garden at our house in Ullapool its just tarmac and same with the back, it was like that when we bought the house (hence the reason i go to Isobels).
