This harness is starting to appeal to me, just wonder what it would be like with a backpack on the back? Reason i ask is i could setup my camera in the large pouch with strap over my neck while having Aidan or my hide on the back. Hmmmmm

John Fairclough is on a distinguished road
Hi Guys.
I have never used an actual harness system, but have for many years now used the "Lowepro Street & Field" system consisting of a couple of pouches on a belt. The pouches have contained accessories in one and my flash gear in the second.
This is an ideal technique when separated from your main gear because you are crawling acroos a muudy field. The last thing you want to do is forget such extras as batteries, flash cards, flash gun, extender etc.
I know Stealth Gear is doing something in this line and am looking forward to testing their products, especially when you consider their prices.
Keep on clickin.

I use a kinesis photo gear

When I bought my 600mm F4 I needed something practical to carry it around in. Obviously it needs to keep my lens protected, but at the same time not be too heavy in itself

After quite a bit of research and email correspondence with Kinesis they advised me on the equipment I needed. Besides the lens case, I also purchased a harness system to fit to the case so I could carry it, leaving my arms free to carry the tripod or whatever...

[L621] PC Long Lens Case 600
(Now replaced with the L622) $296.00
For 600/4 lens w/ hood extended but w/o body. Will also carry most 500/4s with body attached and with hood extended.

Will carry my Pentax K20D with 600mm F4 attached

The case is strong enough, and tall enough, to use as a temporary seat if needed!

The belt and shoulder harness system has provision for additional pouches etc

(Bit like military 58/soldier 95 pattern webbing setup)

Photography harness etc

Hi Steven,

Their stuff is very good and the staff were extremely helpful when it came to deciding what was needed. I was not sure on what lens case to buy as there were two similar models. Plus, the belt I chose was considered a bit of overkill for my needs, so they suggested a cheaper and more supple version - more comfortable to wear. I also bought their safari bean bag.
There is also a downloadable catalogue of their products

As for the photo - will sort something out for you
