Got a macro lens - Canon 100mm :-)

As the title says i got myself a macro lens to play about with, not the highest end lens but it will do for me to play about with. The lens i went for was the Canon 100mm macro. The reason for me getting a macro lens was to get closer to insects and explore that other world that we live in but very rarely take the time to look at.

Its going to take a while to get used to this lens as i am very new to the world of macro photography but i cant wait to explore.

Here are a couple of quick attempts while the rain stopped today.

You can see from this photo its a simple plant but you would never have noticed the insects on the plant until you had a closer look, i find myself looking at things in a different way now.

They are not great images but i will hopefully get better.
