I've just got one of these and eager to test it out in the field. For reference its worth noting that Woburn Deer Park will not allow you to use a hide or chair of any nature :)

Hopefully I'll find some good places in Herts Beds area soon.

Did they give you a reason why not?

I asked and was told that any chairs or hides would block the public footpaths. When I suggested that I park myself under a tree I was told that I had to stay on the footpaths. It was a bit of a circular argument. The 'ranger' I spoke to then said that the Duke does not allow that sort of thing.

Well the chair hide is all set up in the garden, in the snow. Was actually not too bad sitting in there earlier. Its well wind and waterproof as advertised :)

Hopefully get some nice shots from in it tomorrow :)

Cool look forward to seeing some of your photos, if you get any photos of your hide in the snow stick them up in the equipment section of the gallery.

Cheers looks really good, what you might find is bringing the feeder a bit closer to the hide and away from background will help blur the background. Thanks very much for taking your time to put this up.
