Hi Bryan i got the 5d back early this week, looks mint condition and everything seems to work as it did. The house insurance paid out for the repair - my excess.

Cheer Bryan, i seem to be getting more into landscape than wildlife at the moment, with the house build im not getting any free time and the time i get i go places where i know i will get results ie landscapes cant fly away :-).

After using the camera for a little while the thing that strikes me the most is how i can use ISO 600 + (not went to the extreme level yet) and still be happy with the image quality, of course i still want ISO 100 but cant always get what you want. I think the fact I can use higher ISO and increase the shutter speed is worth the money so far.

One other feature i love and most cameras have it apart from the older 5D is being able to connect the camera to PC and remote control the camera, this is extremely useful when it comes to product photography as setup your gear and camera location then the rest is all done on PC.

The only thing that is a bit of a downer is i need to convert the CR2 files to DNG before photoshop will recognise them, need to find an update RAW but heard that will only be available for CS4
