Food Photography Any Experience?

Different type of photography that i have to try and fit in this weekend. Ive been asked to take some photos of food for a website and just wondering if anyone has got any experience in doing the same?

I have done it once before but i was not too impressed with my results.

I now have a macro lens i think it would be best to use that and get as close as possible to the food, take some close ups and some wider shots of the food.

I took this one when i first got my camera and lights, think i can improve a lot from then to now (well i hope i can)
