Travel tips

Just a side thought, but when I'm away on trips (mostly climbing), for extended periods,I usually carry 3 sets of batteries for my camera(using 2 in a battery grip), and a solar powered charger.Absolutly brill for when you are away from mains electricity .They can recharge a canon battery in a couple of hours, regardless of temperature or bright sunlight.
Hope this is of use folks

Rob

Cool Rob what solar charger do you have?
I have a battery grip for the 400D but not invested in one for the 5D yet, they do come in handy.

Steven ,Ive got a silva solar charger with a 12v ciggi outlet,so if you use a hamma (or similar) travel charger, its just a matter of plug in and go.The unit is aboutthe size of a really thin paperback, which opens out.It can then be attatched to a rucksac etc while you're on the move. This is probably the most useful bit of kit I bought.
