Hi Guys.

I have just taken delivery of a new "Extreme" suit and my first impression is to be well imprest, some excellent additions and modifications above and beyond what is normally found or the competitors suits.
I will feed back on this item (OK, all 4 items of the package)
However i will leave you with one initial thought when considering a suit of such a calibre.
To buy one of these suits and improve your field craft is by far cheaper, sorry, more economic and partner friendly, than spending big ŁK's on a large glass.

Keep on clickin.

Hi Everyone.
Sorry I have been missing for such a long time, only life has ben a little mad/hectic to say the very least.

Anyway back to the "Stealth-Gear Camo Clothing", the new video is excellent and as a user of the gear, it does a pretty good job on describing exactly what each item can do for you.

Take a look and judge for yourself.

I have to agree I have watched the video a couple of times and there are a lot of very useful features incorporated in this kit.

It is on my list of wants but there are a few other things that have a slightly higher priority on my spend list at the moment

However if the weather decides to improve any I might start improving my fieldcraft skills so that once I get the suit I won't need to buy a long lens

I bought the jacket last week. I'm glad you can buy th items separately as I have over trousers, I have enough fleeces for a flock of sheep and I'm not that keen on zipping them in as I can't get at the inside pockets and the vest doesn't appeal to me really.

However the jacket is superb. I wore it for the first time today walking around a damp Whitehaven (went to see the WP of the Y exhibition at The Beacon (SUPERB))

and so was the jacket.

I don't really like carrying bags so I had my canon 40D and 24-105 on my shoulder with a Sigma 70 - 200 in one pocket Batteries in the credit card flaps and various other bits and pieces in various pockets. The vent sides were brill when bending down it was strong warm and waterproof. My other jacket is a Country Innovation Rover double ventile jacket which is also superb but for different reasons.

Because I already had he ventil jacket I have prevaricated about the stealth gear but after talking to a birder friend of mine who bought one decided to get one and I'm really glad I did.

Glad you like the jacket greywolf, i find myself always wearing the trousers whenever am out with the camera, they help a lot when sitting on wet rocks or wet grass. The jacket has so many pockets, i tend to carry the 400mm mounted to the camera and tripod and the wide angel lens in the pocket, that way if i spot anything the camera is ready to go and if i see a nice landscape shot again swap lens and ready.

I think one of the biggest changes the clothing has made for me is when am down on the rocks on the coastline the wind chill factor can be pretty cold even with a nice day and when you are sitting for the waves to come in it did get pretty cold to the extent of giving up and heading back.

Just have to remember to pack my beanie hat, forgot that a few days ago, no idea how i managed to forget but i cut my hair short and its not the best idea, my head was frozen. :-)

Hi Greywolf.
I was so pleased to read, as I am sure the S-G owners will be, that you are so happy with the Extreme Jacket.

Since I got my suite I have been wearing it each time I have been out either photographing or just conducting a recky and am finding it is becoming more and more, just another piece of my gear.

Will be putting some additional pictures up soon.

All the very best to everyone and don't forget,
"Keep on clickin".

Took delivery of my suit today

By the time I'd finished work it was dark, wet and windy so without the camera I went for a walk around the village.

The jacket and fleece combo certainly kept me very warm even with just a t-shirt underneath and nice and dry.

The trousers were long enough even when crouching, a miracle when your 6' 5".

Everything was comfortable but I think I may have to get one of those little key finder things that makes a noise when you clap your hands.

I have enough trouble finding my car keys with 4 pockets on a jacket, I could be looking for hours with this outfit

Just need some good weather at the weekend to go out with the camera gear.
