I was doing a lot of work in Isobels garden this weekend. I was trimming down some of the trees that were getting a little to close to the telephone cables etc. Anyway after a long shift in the graden i decided to get the camera out and setup just quickly at the feeder, set the camera focus to manual and set up the remote shutter. I decided to walk back to the back of the garden and see to the trimmings i had left. After about 10 mins i spotted a mass invasion of a bird i have never seen in the garden before. They all looked liked juvenile birds and were in a large pack. I was standing well back at the other side of the garden and was quickly clicking away on the remote shutter finding myself watching from a distance but hopefully getting close up photos. I then decided i would go back in the house and spotted a few more on the feeder so a couple of presses on the remote. (not checked the images but hopefully will be ok). The camera remote i was using can be found here.

The bird that i have never seen before in the garden or even in Ullapool was the long tailed tit. (images to follow)
