Im sure this house sparrow loves to come out when i have my camera, i keep a distance as don't want to scare them but he does not really seem to mind my presence.

Nice photos Steve have you see any of the newly born house sparrows yet? Do you know if these house sparrows have settled near you for a while ie are they returning house sparrows? You should be able to find where they are nesting with the noise of the young during the day.

Hi Carl, no ive not see any of the young ones yet, i can hear them in the corner of the house a lot of noise. Im really not sure if they are returning i will check with Isobel and get back to you.
