Suicidal Robin

There has been a youngish robin determined to get through my livingroom window today. Honestly i think there is seriously somthing wrong with it in the head. I have watched it today fly about endless between trees and bushes like it cant stop for a second. It is noisy and flys all about the house but it has been flying directly into the window about 15 times no lie. It sits perched on the top of a tree and just dive bombs into the window.

Is there anything i can do to deter this bird from killing itself?

I managed to get a picture not that clear but you can see it heading straight at me.

Now that is one strange Robin, i went up to see Isobel as she thought the Robin was going to end up in bits on her window.

Walking around the garden you can see the Robin just acting very strange making itself heard to everyone and doing circles of the house.

I managed to get a couple of photos of the Robin and recommened Isobel to close the curtains to see if that deters the head banging.

I've heard of this quite often with many different species. If there are windows on opposite sides of your room they sometimes don't realise theres glass and try and fly through. Sometimes they see their reflection and are just being territorial. And there are probably times when they are just bonkers! I've seen stickers you can put on your windows to help stop bird strikes but I'm not sure whether they work or not.
