Jackdaw

Got this photo of what i believe to be a jackdaw, one of the nicer crows in my opinion.

Very sharp photo you got there Steve, i would say that is a Jackdaw by the colour of its neck and beak.

I thought that was a crow?

This is indeed a Jackdaw .. the "recognition" mark being the eye colour .. described in some Field guides as being white .. but I think its more of an "Ice blue" .. plus the Grey nape ..
