There has been lots of talk about the sea eagles around the Gairloch area (west coast highlands) so i decided to have a look for myself. About 20 miles east of Gairloch we pulled over the car to take some phots of a river from the bridge and i heard a call. This was a massive bird hovering, ive seen buzzard and red kytes before but this seemed larger, don't get me wrong i might not be correct it might have been another bird of prey just not close enough to be sure.
